Asana is a simple project management tool that helps teams manage projects from start to finish. The Asana extension for Zoho Desk helps you quickly address customer issues by keeping your customer support and project management teams in sync. You can create tasks in Asana from new Zoho Desk tickets and track them until closure. All you need to do is select a workspace and a project where you'd like to create a new task.

Nice for making a simple task in Asana. Would however be a lot more useful if there was a link in Asana back to the Desk ticket, if comments in Asana and closing Asana task did something back in Desk and if you could assign tasks to sections in Asana not just the project
We won't be using the extension since it doesn't allow any customization (default Asana's workspace selected, default boards selected, task template and link to Zoho Desk's ticket within Asana's created task). The fact that we need to connect the app as admin which allow any user to see / create tasks in any workspace / board of Asana (even the ones that some users don't have access to) makes this useless for us.
We'll probably end up building a better integration, something usable for basics needs, on our own.
Hey! While this is super useful I believe it could autocomplete some data, e.g. predefined workspace, task name from the ticket name, etc so as not having to fill these repetitively.
You can add tickets to asana easily which is great. If there is an image in the body of the Desk ticket it will not transfer and there is no way to download or copy the image to Asana. It is lost forever. For attachments, that also will not transfer over to the Asana Task, but you can download the attachment in Desk and then upload it in Asana. Annoying, but you do not lose the information.
We concur with the pain-point you'd raised and shall bubble it up for further discussions to see if there is a way to get this incorporated in the extension down the lane.
